As a girl, my obsession with the color pink started quickly. Before I knew it, I wanted everything covered in pink. My bedroom was covered in pink unicorns. My sheets, towels, sleeping bag, and pillows all had to be pink! As I grew older, my purses and wardrobe were all pink pink pink! As I’ve gotten older, my style has become more sophisticated and less childish so I no longer want to decorate with pink or don the color from head to toe. But I’m still able to incorporate it into my wardrobe with girly pink dresses and subtle accessories. I think it’s only fair for me to dedicate an entire post to one of my favorite colors.

Pink is a strong feminine color that reflects feminine strength. It is also very flattering on many women. Fans of Meghan Markle have noticed that she has been donning pink almost exclusively since her wedding to Prince Harry. The color is soft and flattering against her skin and is also a great way to look girly, chic, and sophisticated but also classy. This pale softer shade of pink is much more grown up than the Pepto Bismol shades I wanted to drench myself in as a child! Wedding season is the perfect time to wear pink- it is a great color for bridesmaids dresses or to wear as a wedding guest. Pink is a color of love after all! What better way to add a romantic touch to a wedding day than donning pink! To truly show my love for pink, I thought I’d compile a few dresses that I adore:

Before we begin, all the dresses that I’ll be mentioning are the ones I saw at Lily Boutique.

Pink Crystal Dress

First up, this one stole the show for me. Hands down one of the most gorgeously made dresses I have seen. It’s flattering, it’s not too much it’s not too less it is just right. The neck is heart shaped and from the neck to the waist it’s all crystal. The back of the dress has a zipper and it’s just phenomenal. Perfect for someone going to their prom party and wanting to look stylish, sexy but with just the right amount of classy. The hemline is long and the dress has a built in bra which personally I thought was wonderful. Over all I would rate this 9/10. Took the one point away because I still feel if the train had a little pattern on it, it would have been so much better.

The Pink Open Back Dress

Oh God it’s like this website is filled with cute pink dresses and I really adore this one. I was looking for a dress with a more sultry and princess feeling to it. It has an open back with just the bit of the crystal fabric meeting near the neck. It has a boat neck that I personally adore I think it gives your shoulders and neck the more adoration that they deserve. The fabric is tulle which is perfect for a dress like this in weather like this. My rating? I’d say 10/10.

The perfect bridesmaid

Being a bridesmaid is really hard. You rarely ever get a time to shop for yourself among all that hard work you’re doing. Wouldn’t it be great if someone just designed a pink bridesmaid dress for you and sent it over without any hassle? This little dress that I think I’m very much in love with has a perfect floral design on it. It’s a pink lace dress with a fabric that has strength and looks great when you style it up with some nice jewelry and makeup. The appliqués look wonderful and if you got it, you would too.

These were just some of the most amazing dresses they have. They’re “supposedly” meant for prom but they are so gorgeous, you could easily pull them off on other occasions too. Check it out for yourself and don’t forget to keep me updated on how your experience was with them. See you later lovelies. Click here to get more info.
